Doubles cribbage tournament December 15
Lodge opened at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2 with 15 members present.
Twenty-two players participated in the cribbage tournament on Sunday, Nov. 24. Blaine Blackman won first prize, second went to Wayne Brewer and third went to George Whitten. High hand was shared by Wayne and Ken. Wayne donated his winnings back to the Lodge. Worst record went to Steve Bussy and most 19s were recorded by Kim Mills. Andy Pinkham got skunked the most. Theresa Townsend donated a beautiful 29 hand board for the tournament. The Lodge would like to thank Martin for helping in the kitchen.
We will be holding a doubles cribbage tournament on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 11:45 a.m. Sign in at $10 per person. Best out of 10 games, high hand, worst record and most 19s will receive prizes.
Sweatin’ Bullets will provide the music for the dance at the hall on Saturday, Dec. 7, 8 p.m. to midnight. Admission is $10 per person. Bring your own beverages and the kitchen will be open.
Tim Sprague and Murky Waters will be having a New Year’s Eve dance on Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Admission is $25 per couple. Snacks will be available.
Lodge members voted again to donate money to Wreaths Across America, which provides wreaths for graves from Maine to Arlington Cemetery. Our respect goes to all who have served and do serve this country in the military.
