As we plan our Christmas and New Year purchases, new TVs may be at the top of the list. As you replace your old, perfectly good TV, please consider donating it to the New Americans in Lewiston who are desperate for them. They are great tools for helping them learn English and becoming part of American culture. We have been taking this community’s generous donations of warm clothes and household goods to them, and they are so grateful. Grateful to be safe, as they come from horrible conditions, and grateful for the generosity they are experiencing. They are skilled, good people waiting patiently for processing so they can work. We have come to know and love them, and we, too, are grateful for the help this wonderful community has offered.
