Dolphins, Sailfish square off in the pool

The Boothbay Region YMCA Dolphins hosted the Penobscot Bay YMCA Sailfish Saturday, Dec. 21 and the Sailfish won the overall swim meet, 362-313. However, several Dolphins did well in the meet, dropping best times on the year and scoring points.

Abby Amaral: First in the girls 11-12 backstroke; second in the 500 free

Jacqueline Branch: second in the girls 8 and under 50 freestyle

Olivia Carlson: seventh in the girls 9-10 50 backstroke

Austin Chryplewicz: third in the boys 8 and under 50 freestyle and fifth in the 25 freestyle

Julian Deliso: first in the boys 11-12 200 freestyle, second in the 50 butterfly, and first in the 50 breaststroke

Emma Doucette: third in the girls 8 and under 50 free and third in the 25 backstroke

Suzannah Edwards: third in the girls 13-14 200 freestyle, second in the 100 freestyle, and third in the 100 breaststroke

Andrew Fowlie: second in the boys 13-14 200 freestyle, second in the 50 freestyle, and second in the 100 breaststroke

Kameron Fowlie: third in the boys 8 and under 25 freestyle

Tatum French: second in the girls 11-12 200 freestyle and third in the 50 butterfly
