David W. Warner
David Warlick Warner, 85, of Charleston, South Carolina and a Boothbay region summer resident, husband of June Longfellow Warner, entered eternal rest on April 8, 2022.
His funeral service will be held on April 23 in the Bishop Gadsden Chapel, 1 Bishop Gadsden Way at 11 a.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.
David was born March 17, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York, son of the late Harry Warner and Selma Warlick Warner. He received his bachelor of science from Cornell University and his MBA from University of Miami.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps Reserves. David retired from the United Nations as an economic shipping consultant.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, June; daughter, Cynthia Warner Dressel of St. Louis, Missouri; two sons, Daniel Longfellow Warner of Jacksonville, Florida and Derek Longfellow Warner of Rogers, Arizona; and six grandchildren, Cate Dressel, David Dressel, Mason Warner, Leila Warner, Jackson Warner, and Olivia Warner.
