Dear Editor:

Kudos to David McFarland, Jody Lewis and their crews for the timely repair to the Little River dam. The winter ice had dislodged several key stones in the spillway and placed the footbridge in danger of collapse.

With the combined skill of these two teams, the repair is made and the footbridge is newly anchored in place. Those of us fortunate to live in Boothbay Shores are grateful for the pride they put into their work. Once again we can stop on the bridge and watch the tide change in the reversing falls that fascinate so many.
