CTL students support Ebola relief efforts

Students at Edgecomb’s Center for Teaching and Learning have been studying the Ebola crisis in the African nations of Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Liberia and following the relief efforts of Doctors without Borders, an international organization that has deployed three thousand volunteers in an attempt to contain the epidemic.
CTL students emptied their pockets and piggy banks over a ten-day period this month, raising $144.55 in coins and paper money in support of this Nobel Prize-winning organization that has been saving lives and alleviating the suffering of people caught in acute crises regardless of their nationalities for over forty years.
To visit CTL when school is in session, prospective parents should call Scott MacDonald, Head of School, at 207-882-9706 to schedule a day to attend a whole-school morning meeting and take a tour of the facilities.
