Registration will open the week prior to each service on Mondays at 10 a.m. and close Fridays at noon. Registrations cannot be accepted before or after the registration period. In the next weeks we pivot into a new way of being a church and becoming a “hybrid” church community. Some of us will be gathering in person, many of us will continue to join virtually from all over the country. Each week in our summer worship series, we’ll be exploring what “open” means as we look back at where we have come and forward to what the Spirit is calling us to be. We look forward to this season of discovery and new beginnings!
On June 6, guest preacher, the Rev. Tom Lenhart, has prepared a sermon that will focus on reconciliation. We will celebrate Holy Communion together, in person and virtually. There will be pre-packaged juice chalices and gluten-free bread for parishioners to grab when entering the Sanctuary. Please feel free to bring your own bread to in-person worship if you prefer. If you choose to worship from home, join us by having your own juice and bread ready.
Send prayer joys and concerns to Prayer Chain Coordinator, Barbara Fritz at bfritz105@gmail.com; Note if you would like to have your prayer shared on Sunday during worship.
You may submit your offerings online at www.congochurchbbh.org, or mail to Congo Church BBH, P.O. Box 468, Boothbay Harbor, ME 04538.
