The start of the weekly Community Lunch served on Thursdays at St. Columba's Episcopal Church will be delayed until January, 2021. The continuing concerns with COVID-19 necessitated the change.

Community Lunch has been served every Thursday from November to April and hosted each week by a group from area churches and the Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club. About 60 people gathered each week to enjoy food and fellowship, and donations from those in attendance went to the Boothbay Region Food Pantry.

The status of the lunches will be reevaluated at the end of the year so that plans may be made for 2021.
