The Boothbay Civic Association will hold its 30th Fourth of July event on the Boothbay Common on Monday, July 4, according to longtime member Joan Rittall.
"Once again, the event will feature the arts and crafts vendors around the Common, the main event — the chicken barbecue at noon — with homemade pies and beverages," said Rittall. "Also, John Bertolet's world famous hot dogs, the Boothbay Fire Department's dunk tank and children's games provided by Desiree Scorcia."
Rittall said the music will be provided by the Boothbay Region Community Band, Arthur Webster, Danny Beal, Rick Limouge of Jefferson and possibly, entertainers from the Carousel Music Theater.
More information on the event will be announced in the next two weeks.
