Cheerleaders win award, look to Regionals

The Boothbay Region High School cheerleading team, coached by Elizabeth Tilton, won the 2012-2013 Cheer Award at the Mountain Valley Conference championships held Saturday, Jan. 12 at Mountain Valley High School in Rumford.
The BRHS cheerleaders will next compete the Regional Championships at the Augusta Civic Center on Saturday, January 26. Starting time to be announced.
Team members include Brook Smith, Caroline Knapp, Saida Riddell, Kaia Groneng, Skyler Davis, Parizat Hini, Alison Cook, Sequoia Hoinsky, Lindsey Buckingham, Louise Monroe, Taylor Walby, Hannah Winslow and Shaw Pinkham.
