Carrabec erased a 14-point Boothbay first half lead to win 61-55 Jan. 6 in a Class C South boys basketball game at Boothbay Region High School. Seahawk point guard Kyle Ames scored 20 of his team-high 25 points in the first half, but the Cobra defense tightened in the second half. Other Seahawk scorers were Hunter Crocker with eight, Steve Reny had six, Kaeden Davis and Nick Simpson with four each, and Eli Gudroe with three. 

Boothbay is 4-3. Carrabec is now 2-6. The Seahawks play next on Wednesday, Jan. 10 versus Hall-Dale.
