Anyone involved in vacation rentals or short-term rentals in Maine or New England should plan to attend the 5th Annual Northeast Vacation Rental Professionals (NEVRP) Conference at the Hilton Garden Inn in Freeport Monday, April 6. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and closing comments at 4 p.m.

You do not need to be a member of NEVRP to attend this educational conference featuring some of the industry’s biggest and brightest talents. “We are really looking forward to bringing this caliber of knowledge and industry experience to Maine through new software, products, speakers, and networking” said Paige Teel, president of the Northeast Vacation Rental Professionals.

This year, the full day of activities includes keynote speaker Amy Hinote, who is the founder and editor of VRM Intel Magazine; she has her finger on the pulse of the Vacation Rental industry nationally and worldwide. She will discuss the industry’s past, present and future and how it relates to Maine and the surrounding states.

Durk Johnson, executive director of the Vacation Rental Housekeeping Professionals, will be giving an overview of key challenges facing vacation rental housekeeping and solutions for retention and best practices. He is planning to offer two more days of Housekeeping Training following the daylong conference April 6.

Justin Ford is a National Vacation Rental Safety Expert with Breezeway and will address the most common safety issues for homeowners and property managers along with a solution that has been adopted by many homeowners, agencies, and towns.

Our lobbyist, Deb Hart, will also deliver the latest legislature news statewide and in local municipalities plus what our organization has helped create and prevent to protect our industry, and more!

Pre-registration is required (on a first come basis) which includes lunch and snacks for the full day of activities. Registration is $65 per person. You can register online at www.vrpome.org/events-1/2020-nevrp-annual-conference or by calling 207-737-9052. Special room rate available at the Hilton Garden Inn for Sunday night, April 5.
