Area creatives are invited to collaborate in a temporary art installation “Flights of Fancy”  to be held during the weekend of the Damariscotta Chamber Art Tour June 27 and 28. This installation will take place outdoors at Inn Along the Way, 741 Main St., Damariscotta, along the wide mowed walking path in the lovely field behind the barn.

In the spirit of the wildness and beauty of this field, home to many kinds of birds, artists are encouraged to create a “Flight of Fancy” from materials of your choosing and your imagination that will be set up along the walking path in the field, in and around the barn. Pieces should be easy to set up and take down and as weather resistant as possible. We will also have some space in the refurbished barn for some pieces.

Interested creatives are asked to email a brief proposal of your “Flight of Fancy” idea and a biography by June 1.
