Mon, 09/27/2021 - 8:30am

Great news: the Boothbay Region Historical Society’s renowned Cheese and Bake Sale is back!

Grafton Village cheddar will be available for purchase on Friday, Oct. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and on Saturday, Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. to sold out, alongside our mouth-watering baked goods. The Grafton Village Cheese company’s flagship cheddar is made with raw cow’s milk and aged for two years.

We will have both one pound and one-half pound packages at the area’s favorite autumn sale. Come see the wide variety of baked goods, including several gluten-free offerings, and yummy cheddar cheese at 72 Oak St., Boothbay Harbor. Purchase one of our Maine blueberry pies before they are gone! Or stock up on other delightful pies, bundt cakes, cookies, brownies, and so much more.

Don’t forget to mark that calendar … Oct. 8 and 9 … for the best treats available anywhere.

The Boothbay Region Historical Society is open to the public year round from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, displaying wondrous artifacts, photos, and documents recording the diverse history of our beautiful region. All proceeds from this sale go directly to benefit the BRHS mission to promote interest in the history of the Boothbay region and to preserve that history for future generations to enjoy.
