Two Boothbay Region Elementary School basketball teams -- and a possible third -- advanced to the Busline League championship games with victories on Thursday, Jan. 17. The championship games will be played at Medomak Middle School.

The seventh grade boys advanced to the championship against Troy Howard of Belfast by defeating Oceanside Blue. Boothbay and Troy Howard will face off at 10 a.m. at Medomak.

The eighth grade girls defeated Camden and will play Great Salt Bay for the championship beginning at 4 p.m.

The eighth grade boys were eliminated Thursday after losing at Belfast.

The seventh grade girls will try to get to the championship game today, January 18, as they host Camden. If Boothbay wins, they will play Oceanside Blue at 2 p.m. for the championship.
