The Boothbay Region Seahawks improved to 10-2 on the season with a 56-41 win over the Oak Hill Raiders in Wales Wednesday night.

The loss dropped the Class B South Raiders to 5-7. Oak Hill is seeded eighth in its division.

Hunter Crocker led Boothbay with 19 points, followed by Kaeden Davis with 15 and Ben Pearce with 12. Pearce led the Seahawks in rebounding with 13.

Boothbay is next scheduled to host Telstar on Friday, Jan. 17 at 6:30 p.m. The Rebels are 2-9 and their only wins were against Carrabec (1-11).

On Tuesday, Jan. 21, the third-seeded Seahawks will travel to Winthrop to face the top-seeded Ramblers at 6:30 p.m. The Ramblers gave Boothbay one of its losses with a 53-43 win at BRHS on Dec. 14.
