The musicians at Boothbay Region Elementary School (BRES) and Boothbay Region High School are getting excited. This year's Spring Concert is Tuesday, April 5 at 7 p.m. at the Opera House at Boothbay Harbor.

The concert features the Fourth and Fifth Grade Band, the BRES Wildcat Wind Ensemble, and the BRHS Seahawk Symphonic band, all under the direction of Mark Phillips.

What can you, the audience, expect to hear? Beginner band songs from the fourth and fifth grade students and, featuring members of the sixth grade, the BRES Wildcat Wind Ensemble will perform a medley from the Disney film, “Frozen.”

The Seahawk Symphonic Band at BRHS will play some classics from the 1970s with, says Phillips, “a surprise senior vocal solo.”

Light refreshments will be for sale.

The Opera House is located at 86 Townsend Avenue in Boothbay Harbor.
