Boothbay runs past Oak Hill

Senior point guard Kyle Ames scored 20 points and sophomore forward Hunter Crocker added 15 as the Boothbay Region Region Seahawk boys varsity basketball team defeated the visiting Oak Hill Raiders, 52-43, Thursday at home.
Boothbay had trailed at halftime, 24-21, but went on a tear in the third quarter, outscoring the Raiders, 19-4.
The win improved Boothbay’s record to 8-4 while Oak Hill dropped to 4-8.
Gavin Dumais led the Raiders with 10 points.
Boothbay will next play on the road at Spruce Mountain.
