Boothbay Region Land Trust (BRLT) invites all members to attend the Annual Meeting, Thursday, Sept. 1 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Linekin Bay Resort. Light refreshments and a cash bar will be served the first hour, with a special guest speaker to open the meeting at 5:30 p.m.

Paul Thomas Hunt, environmental manager for the Portland Water District, will speak on the topic, “Trees Not Treatment: Conserving Forests is a Natural Method of Water Treatment.” Board members Pauline Dion and Bill Cullina will officially end their terms, and new board nominees Lauren Stockwell and John Welsh will be up for vote.
