Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club
The Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club winter rendezvous was held in Charleston, South Carolina at the end of March and a number of members weighed anchor to meet up in the warmer waters. In Charleston, there were so many things to do and see, and many beautiful restaurants to try. The winter reunion started with an Oyster Roast at the lovely home of Past Commodore Bob and Lucy Scribner. Over the following days, members enjoyed a Home and Gardens Tour along the Battery, visited the Magnolia Plantation, toured the Patriot’s Point Museum, walked the iconic Ravenel Bridge, and joined a Harbor History Tour aboard the Carolina Belle or a Dolphin Sail aboard the Schooner Pride. There was also plenty of time to wander the beautiful downtown streets and visit the famous open market. The grand finale was a Blues and BBQ evening aboard the Charleston Princess, as she steamed up the Cooper River. The members are very grateful to Bob and Lucy Scribner for organizing such a superb gathering.
