The Boothbay Harbor Comp Plan Committee welcomes all residents and interested public to participate in a public informational meeting on the draft Comprehensive Plan on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. in the Boothbay Harbor Town Office.

The draft Comp Plan contains many goals to improve the economy and housing choices, protect and improve our marine habitat, water, forest, agricultural, historic and archaeological assets, and maintain and improve public services and facilities. A future land use plan is also proposed which tries to balance the needs for additional residential and commercial development with current uses, existing infrastructure, natural resource limitations, and community preferences.
