Page Brown scored 24 points in her final regular season game at home and the Boothbay Region Seahawks girls varsity basketball team completed the regular season at 18-0 with an easy 69-29 win over the visting Telstar Rebels Thursday night.
Coach Brian Blethen substituted frequently on the night as Telstar (1-17) arrived with only six players. All the Seahawks got to play several minutes.
Junior Faith Blethen and the team’s only other senior Sydney Meader each scored 11.
Boothbay will finish in first place in Class C South and its opening tournament game will be on Tuesday night, Feb. 20 at 8:30 p.m.
The Seahawks will host Monmouth this Saturday for the Mountain Valley Conference championship at BRHS at 2 p.m. There will be an admission charge for the conference event.
