The Boothbay Region High School girls tennis team dropped to 5-2 on the season as the Winthrop Ramblers, now 7-1, defeated the Seahawks, 4-1, at BRHS Monday.
Before the match, Winthrop was seeded fifth in Class C South while Boothbay was seeded sixth. Carrabec (7-0), followed by Maranacook (8-1), lead the division.

Third singles: Delly Clarkson (B) lost 2-6 2-6 to (W) Natalie Frost
First doubles: Kayla Lewis and Annie Bryer (B) lost 3-6 4-6 to (W) Bre Feeney and Alexis Emery
Second doubles: Isabel Harkins and Madison Faulkingham (B) won 6-2 7-5 over (W) Dana Lasko and Hannah Doley
