Boothbay falls to Mountain Valley, 5-0, in boys tennis

Mountain Valley swept all five matches May 1 in defeating Boothbay in a school boy tennis match in Boothbay Harbor.
In singles, Alex Rodriquez defeated Henry Drapeau, 6-1, 6-o in first singles. Gabe Ladd beat Ryan Russell, 6-2, 6-1 in second singles. And Cam Gallante defeated Vincent 6-2, 6-3 in third singles.
In doubles, Mountain Valley won the lone match as Josh Hosdon and Kaleb Noyes beat Boothbay’s No. 1 team of Cody Field and Mason Erhard, 6-2, 6-0. Boothbay forfeited second doubles due to a lack of players.
Boothbay drops to 2-2. Class B Mountain Valley improves to 2-1. Boothbay travels to Dixfield May 6 for a match versus Dirigo (3-0).
