Boothbay edges Mountain Valley

Boothbay hit five three-pointers in the fourth quarter – three by freshman Kaeden Davis – and the Seahawks came back after trailing after three quarters to defeat the Mountain Valley Falcons, 61-57, at Rumford Tuesday night. The Seahawks trailed, 44-41, going into the final frame, and held the Falcons to only 13 points.
The win improved Boothbay’s record to 7-4 while Mountain Valley fell to 5-6.
Seahawk senior guard Kyle Ames led all scorers with 23 points, followed by sophomore Hunter Crocker with 16. Davis finished with nine points.
Cam Godbois led Mountain Valley with 12 points, followed by Jake Blanchard with 11.
