Sophomore Charlotte Fuchswanz scored two fourth quarter goals to help the Boothbay Region Seahawks to a 3-0 win over the visiting Telstar Rebels at Perkins Field Monday, Sept. 27.

Sophomore Kari Blake gave Boothbay a 1-0 first half advantage with an unassisted goal in the second quarter at the 6:18 mark.

Fuchswanz’s first goal came off a centering assist from sophomore Ariel Alamo at the 13:11 mark. Fuchswanz’s second goal, with 4:18 to play, came off an assist from Kari Blake.

Seahawk senior goalie Jaelyn Crocker had two saves while Telstar’s goalie Eb Hoff had four saves.

The win improved Boothbay’s record to 2-5. Telstar dropped to 0-8 with the loss. The Seahawks’ other victory was a 2-0 win at Telstar to open the season.

Boothbay is scheduled to host Hall-Dale on Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 3:30 p.m.
