Boothbay Cooperative Parish Church re-launch
Pentecost Sunday, May 31 was a huge success! We cleaned, sanitized, opened doors, and prayed for the presence of God and God’s blessing upon all those who would come for worship and those who would choose to stay home and worship there. Despite the masks, soft singing, and distancing, it was a grand time.
We’re proud to be in compliance with all safety guidelines resulting from our Governor’s Executive Orders. These guidelines were developed in partnership with the Maine CDC, the Maine Council of Churches, the United Methodist Conference, and our local churches. Now all three United Methodist Churches in the Boothbay region will be open for in-person worship going forward. Our churches will still offer online worship as a valuable option via www.bbrumc.org for computer and smart phone. Catch us also on our YouTube Channel “Boothbay Region United Methodists” and on Facebook at the "Boothbay Region Cooperative Parish.” Soon, you can also expect our worship services to be on local cable Channel 1301 BRTV.
Southport UMC and East Boothbay UMC Sunday worship is at 9 a.m. First UMC of Boothbay Harbor Sunday Worship will be at 10:30 a.m. Please make sure to wear your masks. We have extras if you should need them. Distancing will mean limited seating, so please don’t be late.
