Citizens of the Boothbay region, wait no longer. New episodes of Bob's Bullpen, starring host Bob Pascal and friends, will be returning to Boothbay Region Community Television, Saturday, Jan. 19.

Following a 4-year hiatus, Pascal said he is excited to return and promised an emphasis on local sports stories, lively debate, and a new cast of characters airing every weekend.

Station manager Jonne Trees said Bob's Bullpen has taken the digital leap, and will now feature live sports coverage with better technology, and plans are in the works to connect with viewers via social media.

Pascal said a lot of people around town still talk about the show, and have inquired about a comeback. Pascal said he anticipates the season premier will broadcast on local access Channel 7 around 9 p.m. Saturday, just in time to preview the Patriots' game against the Baltimore Ravens.
