On Saturday, May 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., head down to Oak Street in Boothbay Harbor across from the post office for the first ever Block Party to raise money for the Lincoln County Animal Shelter.
The event is a joint effort between Car Quest, Capers and unTangled to celebrate the “official” opening of unTangled and Capers, and the second anniversary of Car Quest.
There will be games and appetizers, and every person who brings a donation for the animal shelter (monetary or supplies) will be eligible for free giveaways.
Enter a raffle by visiting owners Stacy McLellan of Capers, Dave Rumney of Car Quest, and Kristy Anderson of unTangled and you could win a $75 gift certificate, $25 for each store.
There will be free hand massages at unTangled studio, and more is being planned. Mark your calendars and come help out some animals while having fun.
