There will be a Blessing of the Fleet in Boothbay Harbor on Sunday, June 21 at 3 p.m. Area clergy members will be on the town Fish Pier on Atlantic Avenue to bless the boats as they pass by. Longtime Boothbay Harbor lobsterman Douglas Carter will once again lead the parade of boats.

The bells at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church will ring starting at 2:30 p.m. There will not be a memorial service.

An updated list of those lost at sea is attached to this posting and can be downloaded in case anyone would like a copy to read or review while watching the blessing.
