On Sunday, Aug. 23 at 2 p.m., Dr. Mary Miller, music director at the Southport United Methodist Church, will be joined by her friends: Betsy de Groff, Skip Simonds, Annielyn MacKusick, Pan Mancuso, Karol Clark, Sue Mcleod, Nancy Harriman, and Maria Williams for a concert of song.

The second annual program will include a variety of musical genres from Broadway to country. “It is so humbling to share an afternoon with such talent. I have had a wonderful time preparing with them for this performance,” said Miller.

Some favorites of the singers that you will hear will include, “Memory,” “How Great Thou Art,” Leann Rimes’ “Blue, My Lord,” “What a Morning,” and “Auld Lang Syne.”

Come share a pleasant time with your friends and family at the beautiful Southport Methodist Church, Hendricks Hill Road, Southport. And because it is at the Southport Church, you betcha there will be some light refreshments after the performance.
