Arrests in Enchantments burglary
At 7:23 a.m. Feb. 5, a call came into the police department reporting a burglary at Enchantments, 10 Boothbay House Hill Road.
Officer Tom Chryplewicz responded. Within hours, due to Officer Doug Snyder’s alertness during his midnight shift Thursday night Feb. 4 into Friday morning, Feb. 5, the department developed a lead on two suspects.
At approximately 4:21 p.m., contact was made with two suspects. A search warrant was executed at 6 p.m. at a local motel room. And shortly before 7 p.m., Jack Dengler, 18, of Clarksburg, New Jersey was arrested and charged with Class B Burglary. A juvenile was also arrested and charged.
Lead investigators on the case are Officers Chryplewicz and Larry Brown, assisted by Officers Snyder and Brent Barter and Chief Bob Hasch.
