Andreasen, Crocker lead Boothbay at Augusta XC meet

AJ Crocker and Maddie Andreasen led the Boothbay Region High School cross country team with sixth-place finishes at their Sept. 26 meet at UMaine Augusta.
Overall, the Seahawk girls team finished second with 54 points and a 28:13-minute average. Madison won with 50 points and a 27:11 average. The Boothbay boys team placed third with 65 points and a 20:40 average. Lisbon won with 39 points and a 19:49 average.
For the girls, Andreasen finished sixth in 24:37.90. Other results were: Audrey Robinson, 15th, 27:16.90; Maggie McCarthy, 22nd, 29:24.70; Lexi Hughes, 23rd, 29:51.20; Abby Orchard, 24th, 29:55.90; Rose Campbell, 34th, 33:26.90; and Hanna Kreft, 44th, 36:23.00.
Crocker placed sixth in the boys race in 19:02.40; Louie Caidoc, 13th, 20:13.50; Ross Gaffney, 20th, 20:53.30; Jackson Zehm, 21st, 20:55.20; John Cooper, 30th, 22:17.40; Ben Gapski (Wiscasset), 33rd, 22:28.70; Nathan Percival, 41st, 23:44.60; and Carson Mackusick, 64th, 31:36.90.
