Adult Ed winter-spring class brochure available
Look for the Boothbay Region Adult and Community Education winter/spring class brochure as an insert this week's Boothbay Register! We hope you'll take some time to browse through the brochure.
This semester we are offering over 40 classes and workshops to choose from including several new classes and some returning favorites. Whether you want to improve your computer skills, express your creativity, expand your knowledge, or just have fun we're sure you'll find a class that interests you.
You can also pick up a copy of the brochure at Hannaford, Video Loft, YMCA, all four schools, town libraries and other area locations. The brochure will also be on our website: www.boothbayae.org early next week.
If you enjoy cooking we have several cooking classes this semester including Warming Soups with Savory Crackers, Fabulous Fish, and Gluten Free Baking. You can express your creativity working with beads or learn to crochet. Take About Boating Safely, Sailing Skills or Navigating Midcoast Maine to be better prepared out on the water.
Get information you need to know in I’m turning 65, 10 Signs of Alzheimer’s, or Dump That Debt. Some returning favorites include Damariscove Island History, Cooking with Artisan Oils and Vinegars and Explore the World of Cheese at Eventide, Get to Know Your Digital Camera and Beginning Guitar.
Do you have a tablet, iPad or notebook? We have classes where you can learn more about it’s capabilities, apps and more! Learn a valuable job skill in MS Excel or Word. Become more familiar with new features in Windows 8. These are just a few of the computer courses you can take at Adult Ed this semester.
Don’t forget to register early to avoid disappointment! Classes that have low enrollments will be canceled, so invite a friend or two to register with you.
