The 29th annual Boothbay Charities Classic silent and live sports auction on Sept. 27 raised thousands of dollars for Special Olympics Maine. The event also featured the annual lobster bake and many sports celebrities.
Brenda Blackman, co-chairperson of the BCC with Tony Krason, reported that the 2019 event raised $55,000 for Special Olympics Maine.
