Dear Editor:

There is a lot of activity in the area to try to save the Kenniston Hill Inn from destruction.

I see no mention of saving the trees that surround the inn.

Next time you pass by that area have a look at the huge trees that surround the inn, and imagine what the space is going to look like when its all cleared off to make a new entrance to the golf club.

I would say it’s not the inn that makes such a nice entry to the town, it’s the great old trees that surround it.

Now that corner can be as barren looking as the rest of the town center.
