Red Cloak Haunted History Tour dates

    The Halloween season is upon us and The Lady in the Red Cloak is ready to take groups on a walking tour of Boothbay Harbor to really bring the spirit home.

    On the lantern lit walking tour, The Lady will take you to the back streets and hidden stories of Boothbay Harbor, its mysteries ... and haunts.

    Listen to many a ghostly tale - including the Squire who walked on water, spirits that still reside within several local B&Bs and inns, and a nearby island.

    Learn about funeral practices in the early days.

    See the "most haunted" building in Maine.

    Tours in Boothbay Harbor are on Oct. 15, 16, 18, 20, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29 and 30.

    Wiscasset has its own haunts and mysteries. Tour the "Prettiest Village in Maine” with The Lady in the Red Cloak and see the captains' houses and the wonderful architecture, walk by the Ancient Burial Ground, hear many ghostly tales including the one about the “shrouded lady ...”

    Tours in Wiscasset are on on Oct. 14, 18, 21, 25 and 28.

    See the finest example of Federal architecture in New England, hear many ghostly tales including that of "Grandpa's Ghost," learn of the Mystery Ship and experience a one-of-a-kind evening in this 1750's village. 

    Up the coast a wee bit in the town of Damariscotta you’ll see the finest example of Federal architecture in New England, hear many ghostly tales (you knew that was coming) including that of "Grandpa's Ghost," and the “Mystery Ship” in this 1750s’ village. 

    Tours of in Damariscotta will be on Oct. 16, 19, 23, 26 and 30.

    These 70-90 minute walking tours are suitable for all ages - and they’re dog friendly!  Tours begin at 7 p.m. and begin - well, you’ll have to make your reservations to discover the starting point.
