Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 1 arrest

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 264 calls for service for the period of March 5 to March 12. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 2,342 calls for service.

Summonses

Ricky D. Freese, 61, of Dresden was issued summonses March 7 for Operating under the Influence and Violating Condition of Release, on East Pittston Road, Dresden, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.

Timothy E. Rose, 30, of Norfolk, Virginia was issued a summons March 8 for Violating Condition of Release, at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wiscasset, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.

Melissa M. Stratton, 44, of Jefferson was issued summonses March 9 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked-prior and Violating Condition of Release, on Jefferson Road, Whitefield, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.

Brooke A. Richardson, 23, of Portland was issued a summons March 9 for Operating Vehicle without a License, on Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.

Arrest

Gerald S. Anderson, 61, of Bremen was arrested March 10 for Operating under the Influence, on Anderson Road, Bremen, by Deputy Jeffrey Rogers.

Accidents

On March 5, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Kevin R. Hodgdon, 66, of Boothbay. Mr. Hodgdon was operating his 2017 Nissan Frontier southbound when a deer crossed the road in front of him and was struck, causing damage to the front of his vehicle. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.

On March 8, an accident occurred on Augusta Road in Jefferson involving Samuel E. White, 24, of Waldoboro. Mr. White was operating his 2009 GMC Sierra northbound when a deer came out in front of his vehicle and was struck, causing front-end damage to his vehicle. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.

On March 8, an accident occurred on Arlington Lane in Whitefield involving Morgan E. Bleimeyer, 42, of Jefferson and Madison R. Shorey, 19, of Belmont. Ms. Shorey’s 2015 Buick Regal was parked along Arlington Lane (dirt road) near the Whitefield Library. Ms. Bleimeyer was parked, facing in, at the Whitefield Library when she began backing up her 2014 Honda Ridgeline and struck Shorey’s vehicle in the passenger’s side door. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
