Dear Editor:

I have to write, as others have before me, to praise the folks that work the Wound Center at our former hospital.

Recently, I was overpowered by some wounds from my diabetes and they weren’t healing at all. I had previously been using the VA for help, but not much healing was occurring, so I stopped in at the St. Andrews Clinic.

For the next few weeks, Bonnie, Sue, Judie, Terry and Joanna took over my case(s) and have cleaned me up to a set of healthy feet. The care was excellent and they are truly a blessing. I will always be indebted to these ladies and strongly suggest if you have an open wound, don’t hesitate to stop in. You won’t be sorry … they work miracles on a daily basis,
