    Judges Kit Sherrill, Lorie Demers, Lisa Kristoff, Doug Fraher and Trish Monroe selected the following gingerbreads as this year's Top 12 this afternoon, Dec. 16, at the Opera House.

    Best Representation of a Landmark: “Burnt Island Lighthouse” - Paul and Louise Cowan

    Most Hilarious: “Catch of the Holi-day” - Martha H. Cowdery

    Best Landscaping: Winter Wonderland  - Octavia Aurora (age 7)

    The Gingerbread Spectacular will be held rain, snow, sleet, or whatever else Mother Nature conjures up, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17 and Sunday, Dec. 18 at the Opera House in Boothbay Harbor.
