Harbor Fest 2013

Fun at Harbor Fest

Sat, 09/28/2013 - 12:00pm

Sunny skies greeted hundreds in the waterfront Whale Park for the second annual Harbor Fest on September 28.

Ring toss, dipping dots and treasure hunts were among the festivities at this year's autumn festival, which brought friends and families to Boothbay Harbor to enjoy the offseason.

The live music kicked off at noon with Robby Simson; and treasure hunt teams scurried off through the harbor in hopes of cracking enough clues to win the coveted $500 booty bag of gifts from local businesses.

As this weekend's festival unfolds, the live music will continue during the Chili and Chowder Challenge from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Boothbay Harbor Shipyard.

Sunday's event includes a 5k road race taking place at Boothbay Craft Brewery’s Watershed Tavern at 10 a.m.
