How fortunate we are to have a Wound Center at St. Andrews Family Care Center in Boothbay Harbor.

In early December I had an injury which required a trip to the Urgent Care Center where I was given excellent treatment by Dr. Fowle who sent me to the Wound Center the following day. For the next six weeks I made two visits a week. I had wonderful initial care by Dr. Alamo who heads up the Wound Center and RN Rachel and medical assistant Trina whom I saw for most future visits. Rachel and Trina are two of the kindest, most caring people I’ve ever met. Their excellent professional care of my wound resulted in healing with no infection.

If you have a wound, know that you’ll be in expert hands at the Wound Center at St. Andrews Family Care Center, thankfully only a few minutes’ drive for most of us.
