Sarah E. Spencer and Daniel T. Austin have announced their engagement. The bride and groom are both graduates of Hall-Dale High School, class of 2009, and the University of Maine, Farmington, cum laude, class of 2013. They currently reside in West Sacramento, California.

The father of the bride-to-be is Attorney David M. Spencer of Dresden and the late Lisa Tavenner Spencer, and the granddaughter of Thomas and Priscilla Tavenner of Sawyer’s Island. The mother of the groom-to-be is Faith Huntington of Farmingdale.

Sarah is currently employed as manager of digital and social media services at Advocacy & Management Group, Inc. in Sacramento. She will continue her work with the company when they relocate to Cambridge, Massachusetts. Daniel, who will be entering Harvard Law School this fall, is currently employed as an LSAT (law school admission test) instructor at Blueprint LSAT Preparation Company, also in Sacramento.

An Aug. 6, 2016 wedding is planned in Boothbay at the home of Sarah’s grandparents.
