A cookbook sale, featuring 140 books in the late Lynne Crink's collection, will be held on Wednesday, June 24 on the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library lawn during the Windjammer Days celebration.

From beginning children's books to real gourmets, there will be something to appeal to everyone. The books date from the 1940s and earlier to just a few years ago and include a few from Lynne's mother's collection, who was also a gourmet cook. A number of them are unique to Maine and this area.

In the past, Lynne, of Edgecomb, was responsible for the cookbooks at the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library Used Bookstore, and until earlier this year, was the volunteer coordinator.

All proceeds from this sale will go to support the Used Bookstore and in turn, the library.
