Dear Editor:

Thank you to the following organizations  The Lions Club, The Community Lunch Bunch, The Community Resource Council, The Congregational Church, Bayview Masons Lodge, The Rotary Club, the employees of LincolnHealth (St. Andrews campus), Southport Island Association and Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens for their very generous support the Children's Holiday Fund at Boothbay Region High School.  

What seemed like an almost impossible task became very possible because of the caring folks in our community. This year the Children's Holiday Fund served 52 local families to help make the Christmas season a little brighter. With these generous donations families are able to use gift cards to purchase gifts, stocking stuffers and extra groceries for their holiday celebrations. 

Thank you for choosing to support our program and making a difference in the lives of local families.  How grateful we are to live in such a wonderful community and please know that your support is very much appreciated.
