Stacy McLellan’s new deli and sandwich shop Capers is opening for business on Monday, March 3. The store is located across from the Boothbay Harbor Post Office.

The shop will feature sandwiches, salads with homemade dressings, weekly wine specials, desserts, deli salads and more. Everything will be made from scratch and, as often as possible, with local ingredients.

Capers will have summer delivery service and curbside lunch pickup. People interested in ordering lunch are advised to call early and let the staff know when you’d like it ready.

“I'm very excited,” McLellan said. “It's finally happening.”
