BRHS Senior Night for boys basketball, indoor track

Senior Night ceremonies were held at Boothbay Region High School before the final regular season varsity boys basketball game on Tuesday, Feb. 6. Boys basketball seniors and managers and indoor track senior athletes were presented flowers for those in attendance representing them.

Indoor track coach Nick Scott and his assistants presented flowers to Josani Farmer, Finn Gaffney and Rodi Mayne.

Boys varsity coach Dan Hallinan and his assistants presented flowers to managers Charlee Fuchswanz and Kari Blake, as well as his players Brett Smith, Dominick Dow, Finn Harkins and Luke Morley.

Indoor track seniors

Josani Farmer, son of Karen Farmer, has been with the program for one season and plans to attend trade school to study HVAC.

Finn Gaffney, son of Michael and Cara Gaffney, has been with the program for three seasons and plans to pursue a career in cinematography.

Rodi Mayne, son of Erin Cooperrider and Mike Mayne, has been with the program for three seasons and plans to attend art school next fall.

Boys basketball seniors

Charlee Fuchswanz, daughter of Angela Frost and Michael Fuchswanz, has been with the program for two seasons and plans to attend University of Maine for nursing.

Kari Blake, daughter of Christine Miller and Aaron Blake, has been with the program for one season and plans to attend a four-year college to major in business.

Brett Smith, son of  Tracy Smith and Jedd Smith, and stepparent Mike Godleski, has been with the program for two seasons and has enlisted as a Navy Seabee.

Dominick Dow, son of Emily Dow, has been with the program for four seasons and plans to enlist in the Air Force after high school.

Co-captain Luke Morley, son of Christina Morley, has been with the program for four seasons and plans to study for a business degree and obtain a certification in operating heavy equipment.

Co-captain Finn Harkins, son of Lauren Graham and Adam Harkins, has been with the program for four seasons and plans to attend a four-year college studying sports management.
