Nomination papers are now available at the Boothbay Harbor Town Office for the following positions:

One two-year term for selectmen and overseers of the poor (position vacated by Jay Warren in January); one three-year term for selectmen and overseers of the poor; one three-year term for a member of the Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor CSD School Committee; one three-year term for a member of the Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor CSD Trustees; one three-year term for a trustee of the Boothbay Harbor Sewer District, one three-year term for a trustee of the Boothbay Harbor Water District, at large; and one three-year term for a trustee of the Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor Cemetery District.

Papers must be returned to the town clerk by 4:30 p.m. on March 17. Voting will take place on May 1 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Town meeting will take place Saturday, May 2 at 9 a.m. at Boothbay Region Elementary School, where the community will vote on the town budget and winners of the previous day's election will be sworn in.

All voting members of the public are encouraged to attend.
