The Seahawks took full advantage of an extra week to get ready for their season opener as they rolled over the Telstar Rebels in Campbell Conferece football action on Saturday afternoon in Bethel, 35-0.

Julian Aponte scored his first of two touchdowns in the first quarter after Xavier Downing had scored on a three-yard run on the first possession of the game as the Seahawks jumped out to a 14-0 lead. Late in the first half Nick Kilgus threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Gabe Purin. Antonio Maulolo led an outstanding defensive effort with a pair of quarterback sacks.

The Seahawks host Lisbon on Friday, September 19 at 7 p.m.
