On Friday, Aug. 1, artists Kim and Philippe Villard will be hosting and open studio from 2 to 8 p.m, at 57 Campbell Street, Boothbay Harbor (in the old art colony district).

Together they have resurfaced the timeless technique of white-lined woodblock printing; be there for the release of their eighth artists' book, “Sea: Visitors and Inhabitants.”

Throughout the day enjoy: interactive; woodblock demos/tutorials, “Art Safaris,” Bocchi, hors d'oeuvres, refreshments, music, and the debut of “White-Line Woodblock Printing,” their new motivational short-film entirely filmed in the Boothbay region.
